# Terms of Service for ClearFocus

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ClearFocus ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

## 2. Description of Service

ClearFocus is a productivity application that provides:

Focus session tracking and management
- Distraction blocking features
- Productivity analytics and insights
- Goal setting and achievement tracking
- Cross-device synchronization

## 3. User Accounts

### 3.1 Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
- You must provide a valid email address
- You are responsible for maintaining account security

### 3.2 Account Security
- Keep your password confidential
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- You are responsible for all activities under your account

## 4. Acceptable Use

### You MAY:
- Use the App for personal productivity enhancement
- Customize your settings and preferences
- Track your focus sessions and goals
- Access your data across multiple devices

### You MAY NOT:
- Use the App for illegal purposes
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the App
- Share your account credentials with others
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Abuse or harass other users or our support team

## 5. Subscription and In-App Purchases

### 5.1 Free Features
- Basic focus tracking
- Limited distraction blocking
- Standard analytics

### 5.2 Premium Features (In-App Purchase)
- Unlimited focus sessions
- Advanced distraction blocking
- Detailed productivity analytics
- Cross-device synchronization
- Priority support

### 5.3 Pricing and Payment
- Prices are displayed in the App and App Store/Play Store
- Payment is processed by Apple or Google
- We do NOT have access to your payment information
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled

### 5.4 Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancel anytime through your App Store/Play Store account
- Refunds are subject to Apple/Google policies
- Contact support@adevtech.com for refund requests

### 5.5 Auto-Renewal
- Premium subscriptions automatically renew
- You will be charged 24 hours before renewal
- Manage subscriptions in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play → Subscriptions

## 6. Intellectual Property

### 6.1 Ownership
- The App, design, and content are owned by Adev
- You retain ownership of your personal data
- We are granted license to store and process your data as described in the Privacy Policy

### 6.2 License to Use
- We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App
- This license is revocable if you violate these Terms

## 7. Privacy and Data

### 7.1 Data Collection
- We collect only email, name (optional), and your focus session data
- All data is stored securely in Firebase
- We do NOT collect usage data, device information, or location

### 7.2 Data Deletion
- You can delete your account and data anytime
- Visit: https://adevtech.com/apps/clearfocus/request-delete
- Or email: support@adevtech.com
- All data will be permanently removed within 30 days

## 8. Disclaimers and Limitations

### 8.1 "AS IS" Basis
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation

### 8.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adev shall NOT be liable for:
- Loss of data or productivity
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or revenue
- App downtime or technical issues
- Third-party service interruptions (Firebase, App Stores)

### 8.3 Maximum Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months (if any).

## 9. Third-Party Services

The App uses:
- Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication and data storage
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store for distribution and payments

These services have their own terms and privacy policies.

## 10. Termination

### 10.1 By You
- You may stop using the App at any time
- Delete your account in: Settings → Account → Delete Account

### 10.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- We are required to do so by law
- The App is discontinued (with 30 days notice)

### 10.3 Effect of Termination
- Your access to the App will be revoked
- Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
- Premium subscriptions may be cancelled (no refund unless required by law)

## 11. Changes to Terms

- We may update these Terms from time to time
- Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- Material changes will require explicit consent

## 12. Governing Law

- These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction
- Disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws
- EU users have rights under GDPR and applicable consumer laws
