Smart PDF AI provides AI-powered document processing services including:

PDF document viewing and navigation
- Document scanning using device camera
- AI-powered text extraction and OCR
- Document format conversion
- Content analysis and summarization
- File management and organization

## Permissions and Device Access

### Camera Permission
- Purpose: Enable document scanning and photo-to-PDF conversion
- Usage: Camera access is only used when you actively use scanning features
- Storage: No photos or camera data are stored on our servers
- Control: You can revoke camera permission in device settings

### File/Storage Access
- Purpose: Access PDF files for processing and save processed documents
- Scope: Only files you explicitly select or authorize
- Limitation: We cannot access files without your permission

### Notification Permission
- Purpose: Inform you of processing completion and important updates
- Control: Can be disabled in app or device settings

## Content and Data Handling

### Your Content
- You retain all rights to documents you upload or create
- You grant us temporary license to process your documents
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to process all content

### AI Processing
- We use OpenAI services for advanced document processing
- Your document content is sent to OpenAI for AI analysis
- Document content is processed temporarily and not stored
- All content is deleted immediately after processing

### Data Processing Guarantee
- No Storage: We do not store document content on our servers
- Temporary Processing: Content exists only during active processing
- Immediate Deletion: All content deleted upon processing completion
- Secure Transmission: All data encrypted during transmission

## Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Use the service to violate any laws or regulations
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the service
- Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Process confidential information without proper authorization

## Service Availability and Limitations
- We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
- AI accuracy depends on document quality and format
- Processing times may vary based on document complexity
- Some documents may not be compatible with all features

## Privacy and Data Protection
- Your privacy is protected under our Privacy Policy
- We implement industry-standard security measures
- Document content is never stored permanently
- You control your data and can request deletion

## Limitation of Liability

Smart PDF AI is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Data loss or corruption
- AI processing errors or inaccuracies
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Third-party service failures
